Ziyanda Stuurman serves as a Lead Advisor for Insights and Advocacy at Africa Practice. Her work focuses on international security, development studies, and public policy, with a particular emphasis on African and South African politics.

Prior to her current role, Stuurman was a Senior Analyst at Eurasia Group and a Policy Manager at the Abdul Latif Jameel Poverty Action Lab (J-Pal).
