Jeremy Zico Kolter is a professor and department head at Carnegie Mellon University. He directs the university's machine learning department, where his work primarily focuses on AI safety research.

Kolter also holds significant roles outside academia, serving as a Board Member for OpenAI and Qualcomm. Previously, he was the Chief Scientist at Gray Swan and held the position of Chief Data Scientist at C3 Ai. He also worked at Bosch USA.
