Biography

Yvette Marie Davids is a United States Navy vice admiral who served as the Superintendent of the United States Naval Academy from January 11, 2024, to August 15, 2025, becoming the first woman to hold this position. Her naval career includes serving as executive officer of the destroyers USS Higgins and USS Benfold, and commanding the frigate USS Curts from April 2007 to November 2008, and the cruiser USS Bunker Hill from November 2012 to October 2014.
