Biography

Yuan Yang is a British Labour Party politician, currently serving as the Member of Parliament for Earley and Woodley since 2024. Born in Ningbo, China, she moved to the north of England at age four. Yang received a bachelor's degree in Philosophy, Politics and Economics from Balliol College, Oxford, graduating with first-class honours in 2011. She later pursued an MSc in economics at the London School of Economics from 2012–2013 and studied at Peking University in 2013.
