Biography

Yousef Al Otaiba serves as the Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) to the United States (US) since 2008 and was appointed Minister of State in 2017. Leading the UAE Embassy in Washington, D.C., he works to strengthen the UAE and US relationship across diplomacy, trade, and innovation.

Ambassador Al Otaiba is known for his integral role in the historic 2020 Abraham Accords and maintains a focus on the UAE's strategic interests and desire to bring peace to the Middle East.
