Yasmine Mohammed is a Canadian university instructor, human rights activist, and author. She is known for her advocacy for freethinkers from Muslim communities, a path she embarked on after escaping a forced, abusive marriage to Al-Qaeda operative Essam Marzouk. Mohammed founded the non-profit organization Free Hearts Free Minds and is the co-founder and co-director of the CLARITy Coalition. She is also the author of "Unveiled: How the West Empowers Radical Muslims.
