Yannis Maniatis is a prominent figure in European politics and academia, currently serving as a Member of the European Parliament (MEP) and Vice President of the Group of Socialists & Democrats (S&D). In this capacity, he focuses on foreign affairs, defense, international energy security, and cooperation, and leads the Greek Delegation within the S&D group.
