Yangyang Cheng is an interdisciplinary scholar whose work spans science, technology, and US-China relations. She holds a background as a particle physicist by training.

Cheng currently serves as a Senior Fellow at the Asia Society. Previously, she held the position of LHC Physics Center Distinguished Researcher at Fermilab. She is also recognized as an award-winning writer, editor, and podcast host.
