Wolf Gruner is a German academic and a prominent figure in the field of genocide research and Jewish studies. He serves as the Founding Director of the USC Dornsife Center for Advanced Genocide Research at the University of Southern California (USC Shoah Foundation), a position he has held since 2014.

At USC, Gruner holds the Shapell-Guerin Chair in Jewish Studies and is a Professor of History.
