Wim Hof, born on April 20, 1959, in Sittard, Netherlands, is a Dutch motivational speaker and extreme athlete, widely known as The Iceman. He gained recognition for his remarkable ability to withstand extremely low temperatures, attributing these feats to his self-developed Wim Hof Method (WHM). Hof has held Guinness World Records for achievements such as swimming under ice and prolonged full-body contact with ice, and also holds a record for a barefoot half marathon on ice and snow.
