Biography

William Alan Reinsch is a U.S. trade policy expert and former government official. He currently serves as a Senior Adviser and Scholl Chair Emeritus with the Economics Program and Scholl Chair in International Business at the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS). At CSIS, he also co-hosts The Trade Guys podcast.

Reinsch's extensive government career includes serving as Under Secretary of Commerce for Export Administration during the Clinton administration from 1994 to 2001.
