Biography

Wendell Wallach is a bioethicist and author recognized for his work on the ethics and governance of emerging technologies, with a particular focus on artificial intelligence and neuroscience. He is a scholar at Yale University's Interdisciplinary Center for Bioethics, where he chaired the Technology and Ethics Research Group from 2004 to 2025. Wallach also served as co-director of the AI and Equality Initiative at the Carnegie Council for Ethics in International Affairs from 2019 to 2025.
