Wei Meng serves as the Director of Standard & Open Source at ZTE. She also holds the position of Vice Chair of ITU-T FG-AINN within the International Telecommunication Union.

Her leadership extends to the open-source and AI communities, where she is a Board Member and Chairperson of LF AI & Data at The Linux Foundation. Additionally, she acts as Chairman of WG3 at FG-ML5G, further contributing to the International Telecommunication Union's initiatives.
