Oliver Wang serves as a Principal Scientist at Google DeepMind, where he focuses on GenAI. His work involves developing world-class image and video generation models and teaching multimodal language models to communicate visually. He co-techled the team responsible for the Imagen and Nano Banana model families.

Prior to his current role, Wang founded and co-led Firefly from its inception through its initial release at Adobe.
