Chief Adebayo Olawale Edun, commonly known as Wale Edun, is a Nigerian economist, investment banker, and politician. He serves as the Minister of Finance and Coordinating Minister of the Economy for the Federal Republic of Nigeria, a position he assumed in August 2023. In the same year, he was appointed Chairman of the African Governors’ Forum of the World Bank, becoming the first Nigerian in 60 years to hold this role.
