Vivek Sarkar is the John P. Imlay, Jr. Dean of the College of Computing at Georgia Institute of Technology, where he is also a Georgia Research Alliance Eminent Scholar and a professor in the School of Computer Science. His research focuses on multiple aspects of parallel computing software, including programming languages, compilers, runtime systems, and debuggers for parallel, heterogeneous, and distributed high-performance computer systems.
