Vladimir Pozner is a French-born Russian-American journalist and presenter. During the Cold War, he represented and explained the views of the Soviet Union in the West. His ability to speak fluent English, Russian, and French facilitated this role, which he later described as propaganda.
After the Cold War, Pozner moved to the United States to work with Phil Donahue. He later returned to Moscow, continuing his career as a television journalist.
