Vincent Daniel Blondel, born on 28 April 1965, is a distinguished Belgian figure with a dual career in academia and politics. He holds the position of professor of applied mathematics and is a former rector of the University of Louvain (UCLouvain). Additionally, he serves as a visiting professor at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT).
