Biography

Vinay Prasad is a practicing hematologist oncologist and a professor at the University of California, San Francisco. He previously served as the Chief Medical Officer and Director of the Center For Biologics Evaluation and Research (CBER) at the US FDA between 2025 and 2026.

Prasad is the cofounder of Sensible Medicine and the creator of the podcasts Plenary Session and Medicine Unpacked.
