Verna Williams serves as the Chief Executive Officer of Equal Justice Works, where she leads the organization's vision, strategy, and operations. With over 30 years of experience in the legal and nonprofit sectors, she is committed to advancing equal justice for all and supports public interest lawyers to promote equal access to justice.

Prior to joining Equal Justice Works in 2022, Williams was the Dean and Nippert Professor of Law at the University of Cincinnati.
