Virginia Dignum is a Professor of Responsible Artificial Intelligence at Umeå University in Sweden, where she directs the AI Policy Lab. She also serves as the Chair of the Technology Policy Council at the ACM (Association for Computing Machinery) and is a senior advisor on AI policy to the Wallenberg Foundations. Her work focuses on advocating for responsible AI policy and governance.
