Biography

Usha Bala Vance (née Chilukuri), born on January 6, 1986, is an American lawyer who will serve as the Second Lady of the United States starting in 2025, as the wife of JD Vance. She is recognized as the first Indian-American Second Lady. Vance was born in San Diego County, California, to Telugu Indian immigrant parents and raised in the upper-middle-class Rancho Peñasquitos neighborhood.
