Uri Levine is an Israeli entrepreneur and author, born in February 1965. After completing his military service in the Israeli Defence Force's cyber intelligence unit 8200, he worked at Comverse, Celltrex, and Openwave before co-founding Waze in 2007 with Ehud Shabtai and Amir Shinar. He served as CEO of Waze from 2008 to 2009, and later as president.
Waze, a community-based driving traffic and navigation app, was acquired by Google for over $1.1 billion in June 2013.
