Temur Umarov is a fellow at the Carnegie Russia Eurasia Center. His research primarily focuses on the domestic and foreign policies of Central Asian countries, alongside China’s relations with both Russia and its Central Asian neighbors.
A native of Uzbekistan, Umarov holds an MA in world economics from the University of International Business and Economics in Beijing.
