Biography

Tulsi Gabbard, born April 12, 1981, is an American politician and U.S. military officer.

She currently serves as the eighth Director of National Intelligence (DNI) since 2025. Prior to this role, Gabbard was a U.S.

Representative for Hawaii's 2nd congressional district from 2013 to 2021 and a member of the Hawaii House of Representatives from 2002 to 2004. She was a member of the Democratic Party until 2022, becoming an independent, and later joined the Republican Party in 2024.
