Tshering Tobgay is a Bhutanese politician currently serving as the seventh Prime Minister of Bhutan since 2024. He previously held the office from 2013 to 2018. Tobgay is the leader of the People's Democratic Party, which he also co-founded as Bhutan's first registered political party. He was elected Prime Minister by a secret ballot after the 2013 election and again after the People's Democratic Party won 30 seats in the 2024 general election.
