Tracey L. Meares is an American legal scholar and author, serving as the Walton Hale Hamilton Professor of Law at Yale Law School. She is also the co-Founding Faculty Director of The Justice Collaboratory.

With over 30 years in legal education, Meares is a nationally-recognized academic. Her research focuses on the public understanding of the fairness of legal authorities, and she has taught constitutional criminal procedure for over two decades.
