Biography

Born Anthony Reed in 1963, Tommy Davidson was adopted and later moved with his family to Washington, D.C., and Maryland.

He attended Bethesda-Chevy Chase High School, graduating in 1981, and studied communications for one semester at the University of the District of Columbia. Before his comedy career, he held various jobs including in the kitchen of Walter Reed National Military Medical Center and cleaning at Roy Rogers.
