Tom Michaud serves as President and CEO of Keefe, Bruyette & Woods (KBW), an investment bank specializing in the financial services sector. He also holds the position of Co-Head of Global Institutional Equities and Advisory at Stifel. Michaud joined KBW in 1986 as a credit analyst trainee and has spent 39 years building the firm.

He co-led KBW's rebuilding efforts following the events of 9/11 and, in 2006, co-led the firm's initial public offering (IPO).
