Toby Stuart is the Helzel Professor at UC Berkeley-Haas, where he conducts research focused on AI and entrepreneurship. He is also the cofounder of Flock Freight, a company he helped establish.

Stuart is an active participant in corporate governance, serving on the Board of Directors for HNTB Holdings, Flock Freight, and FLYR Labs. He also holds the position of Chairman for the AI Advisory Board at Workday.
