Christine Elizabeth Smith is an American politician who has served as the junior United States Senator from Minnesota since 2018. A member of the Minnesota Democratic–Farmer–Labor Party, she was elected to a full term in 2020. Smith announced on February 13, 2025, that she will not seek re-election in 2026.
