Biography

Timothy Martin serves as the Korea Bureau Chief for The Wall Street Journal. In this role, he oversees coverage of Kim Jong Un's regime, Samsung, and other significant news developments on and around the Korean Peninsula. He has been based in Seoul since early 2017.

During his time in Seoul, Martin has focused on reporting about Samsung and global technology trends, as well as the activities of North Korea's hackers.
