Biography

Timothy Hodgson is a Canadian politician who has served as the Minister of Energy and Natural Resources since 2025. A member of the Liberal Party, he was elected to the House of Commons in the 2025 federal election, representing Markham—Thornhill.

Prior to his political career, Hodgson had an extensive background in finance. He held various positions with Goldman Sachs from 1990 to 2010, including serving as CEO of Goldman Sachs Canada from 2005 to 2010.
