Biography

Timothy Patrick Sheehy is a United States Senator for Montana, serving since 2025. A member of the Republican Party, he is also known as a businessman, aerial firefighter, cattle rancher, and former Navy SEAL officer. He is the youngest Republican U.S. senator and the second-youngest U.S. senator overall.

Born and raised in Ramsey, Minnesota, Sheehy attended St. Paul Academy before graduating from the U.S. Naval Academy in 2008 with a bachelor's degree in history.
