Tiffany Smiley is a political pundit, farm girl, and former nurse who earned a BS in nursing from Whitworth University. In 2005, after her husband, Scotty, a decorated Army officer, was blinded by an IED in Iraq, Smiley, then 23, quit her job to advocate for his care and his chance to stay on active duty. This experience led her to fight the military bureaucracy and reform the VA for wounded heroes and caregivers, becoming a voice for those who have sacrificed.
