She gained widespread recognition starring on the first two seasons of the reality show *Flavor of Love* (2006), where rapper Flavor Flav gave her the nickname "New York." During her time on the show, Pollard was involved in occasional clashes with other contestants, including an incident where she was spat on by Brooke "Pumkin" Thompson. She reached the finale in both seasons but was ultimately eliminated.
