Þorgerður Katrín Gunnarsdóttir, born on October 4, 1965, is an Icelandic politician. She has served as the chairwoman of Viðreisn since 2017 and was appointed Minister for Foreign Affairs following the 2024 snap election. Her political career began with her election to the Althing in 1999.

From 2003 to 2009, Þorgerður Katrín was the Minister of Education, Science and Culture.
