Thomas N. Seyfried is an American professor of biology, genetics, and biochemistry at Boston College. His research primarily focuses on the mechanisms of chronic diseases, including cancer, epilepsy, and neurodegenerative lipid storage diseases, as well as caloric restriction diets. He is the author of the 2012 book 'Cancer as a Metabolic Disease: On the Origin, Management, and Prevention of Cancer'.
