Biography

Thomas Piketty is a French economist and a leading academic in the field of income and wealth inequality. He serves as a professor of economics at the Paris School of Economics (PSE), an associate chair at PSE, and a Centennial Professor of Economics at the London School of Economics (LSE). He is also a Directeur d’études at EHESS - École des hautes études en sciences sociales and co-directs the World Inequality Lab.
