Terri Gerstein is the Director of the NYU Wagner Labor Initiative at NYU Robert F. Wagner Graduate School of Public Service. She also serves as a Senior Fellow at the Economic Policy Institute.

Previously, Gerstein held significant roles in New York State government. She was the Labor Bureau Chief for the Office of the New York State Attorney General and served as Deputy Commissioner for Wage Protection and Immigrant Services at the New York State Department of Labor.
