Edward Lynam O'Brien is an Australian politician who has served as the Federal Member for Fairfax since 2016. He held office as the deputy leader of the Liberal Party and served as the deputy leader of the Opposition from 2025 to 2026. Currently, he holds the position of Shadow Minister for Foreign Affairs.
Prior to his political career, O'Brien worked extensively in business development roles overseas, living in China, Taiwan, and Hong Kong.
