Matthew D. Taylor is a public-facing religious studies scholar who researches and writes about religious nationalism, theologies of the Christian right, Christian supremacy, and pluralism. He serves as a visiting scholar at the Center on Faith and Justice at Georgetown University, where he helps convene and facilitate conversations among activists, theologians, and religious leaders on protecting democracy.
