Tara Houska Zhaabowekwe (Couchiching First Nation) is a tribal attorney, land defender, and climate justice activist. She is also an Environmental & Indigenous Rights Advocate and a writer.

Houska is the Founder of Giniw Collective. Her career history includes serving as an Associate Attorney at Hobbs Straus Dean & Walker. She has also contributed as a writer to publications such as Huffpost and Indian Country Today.
