Tammy Ma serves as the Deputy Principal Associate Director for Science & Technology (DPAD for S&T) for the National Ignition Facility & Photon Sciences (NIF&PS) Directorate at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory (LLNL). In this role, she is responsible for formulating a long-term vision and strategy for S&T development within NIF&PS. Ma is an American plasma physicist who works on inertial confinement fusion at LLNL.
