Tamara Mellon, OBE, is a British fashion entrepreneur. Born Tamara Yeardye in London on July 7, 1967, she co-founded the luxury footwear brand Jimmy Choo in 1996. She served as its Chief Creative Officer from its inception through its acquisition by new owners in late 2011. Mellon secured funding from her father for the business and established an office in Italy for production, quality control, and shipping.
