Tahir Raza Shah Andrabi is a Pakistani-born American economist who holds the position of Stedman-Sumner Professor of Economics at Pomona College in Claremont, California, where he began teaching in 1988. He earned his B.A.

from Swarthmore College in 1984 and a doctorate in economics from the MIT Department of Economics in 1990. His doctoral thesis, supervised by Paul Krugman, was titled "Essays in International Trade and the Debt Crisis.
