Biography

Suzanne Maloney is the Vice President and Director of Foreign Policy at The Brookings Institution, where she has been a Senior Fellow since 2007. She also held a Pre/Post-Doctoral Fellow position at Brookings from 1998 to 2001.

Prior to her current roles at Brookings, Maloney served as a Member of the Secretary's Policy Planning Staff at the U.S. Department of State from 2005 to 2007. She also worked as a Middle East Advisor for ExxonMobil from 2001 to 2004. Maloney holds a Ph.D.
