Susan M. Collins is an American economist currently serving as the 14th President and CEO of the Federal Reserve Bank of Boston since July 1, 2022. She is recognized as the first African American woman and first woman of color to lead any of the 12 regional Federal Reserve Banks. Born in Scotland to Jamaican parents and raised in New York City, Collins identifies as a lifelong learner, educator, and international macroeconomist.
