Susan Carol Schwab is an American politician and strategic advisor, currently serving as a Strategic Advisor at Mayer Brown LLP. She held the position of United States Trade Representative from June 2006 to January 2009 under President George W. Bush, having previously served as Deputy United States Trade Representative from 2005 to 2006. As Trade Representative, she negotiated the United States-Canada softwood lumber dispute, signing a deal in September 2006.
