Biography

Dr. Susan Leavy is an Assistant Professor at University College Dublin (UCD), where she operates at the intersection of artificial intelligence, ethics, and digital policy. Her academic journey includes studying AI at Edinburgh University in 1999, followed by a career in financial services technology. She later returned to academia, earning an MPhil in Gender Studies and a PhD in Computer Science, which underpins her cross-disciplinary approach to AI ethics.
